Activated Carbon Odor Control Air Filter

Features:

~High Rate of Adsorption: The rate of adsorption depends on the relationship betwee the carbon pore structure, or surface area, and the shape of the contaminating molecules. We grind our carbon to an extremely fine particle size to increase the surface area available for adsorption.

~Dual Filtration Effect: We impregnate our activated carbon ontoa a dust filtration media to achieve a dual filtration effect. The substrate filters the particulate matter, while the activated carbon filters the gas or vapor contaminant.

~Easy to Handle and Process: Our activated carbon is thermally bonded to the substrate, resultiing in very little "brush-off". This eliminates the mess associated with processing and handling granular carbon.

This Filter is used for any of the above applications. When used in your HVAC system it will help eliminate most household odors.

Length uf use:

There is no specific way to measure odors that are captured in the filter. The best way to tell it is time to change the Odor Control Carbon filter is if you notice an increase int he odors you are trying to eliminate. The filter may last from 1 month to 6 months.

Vent Filtraion Media

Your ducts carry common house dust that is loaded with invisible allergens into the rooms of your home.

These high-grade polyester vent filters remove the dust coming out of the duct work. Simple easy to install instructions will be included with your media. For best results, replace the pads monthly. Do not wash.

The vent filter media is more economical and a much better way to filter than other methods such as cheesecloth or gauze. The kit includes a piece of filter media 11 inches wide by 5 feet long and comes with approximately 16 inches of velcro.

It is recommended that you only cover a few vents in your home as to not strain your forced air system. Adding a high efficiency Air Conditioning/Furnace Filter to your system will also help greatly in keeping the air quality in your home at its best.
